Having problems with your 2004 Chevrolet Venture Passanger ?

I have had my driver's side front wheel bearing changed twice and still have issues with the ABS light coming on sporadically and hearing the noise when turning sporadically. I just had the master cylinder changed and brakes have been checked. The ABS light was not on when the work was being done - so they could not diagnose that issue. Ofcourse, as soon as I left - the ABS light came on. Once the car ignition turns off and back on again - it resets it and then it may be a week before it comes

Answers :

Sometimes moisture can get into the connectors and short out the system giving it an error. Mine was in the passenger compartment under the seat. Sprayed it out, cleaned it up and light went out. I just kept up on the brake maintenance, fluid level, pad and rotors more so than average. In all honesty, the brakes received horrible marks in that vehicle's reviews. With the light on I took it to a shop because I have no ABS tools, they could not tell me what was wrong with the system other than the light was on.
