Having problems with your Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ?

I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 4wd, and both of my brake lights stopped working, but the light above the bed of the truck still works. I have checked all the fuses, changed the bulbs, and checked the brake switch, and changed that just to check. I still cant get the brake lights to work. I traced the power and it works all the way to the junction box, but not out to the brake lights. So I bought a new junction box, and I am still not getting any brake lights. Any idea's on what else it can b

Well it sounds like you have a short fro junction block to taillights , make your own wire from where you know you have power to brake lights . and that will tell you where to go.
I am having the exact same problem on my 03 Silverado. Replaced brake pedal switch, fuses, bulbs and the 4 way junction box as well. It is getting power to the box. How could the wiring harness randomly go bad to both sides?
