What is the torque sequence for heads on a 455 olds

On your heads you should have 5 pairs of head bolts. Start with the middle pair and tighten the bolt under the valve cover first. #2 is directly below #1. #3 is to the right of #1. #4is directly below #3. #5 is to the left of #1 and #6 is below #5. #7 is left of #5 and #8 below #7. #9 is extreme right past #3 and #10 is below #9. Tighten the bolts in 3 stages to a torque of 85 ft.lbs. Hope this helps.
