Having problems with your 1982 Ford F 250 ?

Fuel pours into the carb while runing or in the off possIt runs like the carbs floats or pressure is built up don't know what two barrl is on the motor but it has a alum intake that leaks

You may have dirt in the needle valve. A quick fix for this is to remove the fuel line and attach a longer line to it, placing the free end into a large container (at least one gallon) Floor the pedal if necessary to get started, then back off and keep it running till the carb runs out of fuel. Re-attach the line to the carb and re-start...the rush of fuel going past the valve often will clean it off. If you do this twice and don't get it to work, then the carb needs to come apart and the float has to be checked to make sure it still floats, and that the fuel bowl isn't full of gunk. If it is, either rebuild it or replace it.
