Having problems with your 1983 Chevrolet Blazer ?

1982 blazer hard to start when its cold. after first start of the day fires everytime. have to hold choke open to get to start.

The automatic choke linkage is hanging up normally you have to remove the three screws holding it in place and lube the inner piston inside the choke housing. Do this with the engine cold, adjust the chock so that it closes the throttle plate with a slight pressure, when you push on the throttle the plate should close all the way, and with a slight push with the ginger it should open easy.
