Having problems with your 1983 Nissan Pickup ?

Wires removed from distributor and plugs. need to know the order they go back on

Does it have the OEN type cap because it should have the # on it if you cant work out which one is the left or right side you can disconect one of the wires that go to one coil that will give you 4 to sort out and the other 4 will follow. the firing order is 1342. going by men=mory here #1 is looking straight at the cap bottom left and the direction is anti clock wise. if you use the outer row of leads I think it uses the top coil.the only way to confirm this is to look at the rotor and work out which coil goes to the outer group. the iner group is 180deg out of rotaition

\015\012by the way these 8 plug motors had a bad habit of failing at the rotor in the cap crossfire would happen to 2 plugs and make do all sort of faults.
