Having problems with your 1983 Toyota Pickup ?

We have a 1983 SR5 with an automatic tansmission. Ordinarily, the truck will start and run just fine. However,in hot weather,if the truck is parked after running between 15-30 minutes, it will not start again until another half hour has passed. At times it may not start again in park and may need to be started in neutral.

Answers :

Its a fuel related problem.Check all the things as mentioned.\012
1) Fuel pump.
2) Fuel injectors.
3) Fuel filter/.
4) Fuel pressure.
5) Fuel gauge.
Also check any leakage of fuel in the fuel tank.
If the problem is not regular and only happens when the whether is hot then the starter needs to be checked. The battery in the truck is connected to starter. The connection between starter and battery needs to be checked.
Check out.Thanks.
