Having problems with your 1984 Subaru Gl ?

I have a 84 subaru gl and the electrical system died

\015 I forgot to remove the battery cables when I was changing the alternator and the wire to the battery arced out on a piece of metal. Now I have no juice to anything. The battery is good. Do you think I fried my coil or the ignition module. Would this cause no power to anything. I see no fuses or melted wires. Also where is the ignition module located. Thankyou for your help. Answers :

There should either be a fusible link if not, I would check the voltage regulator. Should be mounted on the fire wall. Just follow the red wire it will go right to it
