Replace oil pump

\015 How do I change the oil pump on a 1984 Toyota Celica Supra?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 21-01-2019

Answers :

Oil Pump is in the oil pan.. You would have to take the pan out. To get the pan out you either have to raise the motor up or remove crossmembers.
To replace the oil pump on the 5M-GE engine you will need to pull the engine and remove the oil pan, this will expose the oil pump so you can remove it and install the new one. Its a pretty simple fix minus the pain in the **** part of removing the engine. You can do this without removing the engine but its a horrible experience.
