Its likely a part called the TFI module its the electric ignition they had a lot of problems with it there was a class acttion law suite over it and ford lost There 30 dollars now it bolts to the back of the distubtor with two 5.5 mm bolts and a connector you have to smear this clear silacone based grease on the back of it you will get it with the part. The problem is that it gets to hot and needs to be replaced every 5 years or so. The vehicle will buck when your on the highway then it will be ok for a few weeks then it will do it again thats how you know its time because one day soon it just quits some times it will come back when it cools and sometimes it will quit and never work again. If your woundering how i know so much i have one had it for 20 years
