Having problems with your 1986 Peugeot 505 ?

My back light and one of my headlights are not working on my peugeot 206. My boyfriend changed the bulb in the back light but it's still not working. All of the fuses are ok. What else could it be?

Hi mate,
\015\012This is a common problem on the rear lights on 206's.
\015\012They have a problem with water leaking into the units and over time this corrodes the bulb holders and sometimes the wiring plugs. the only remedy is to replace the bulb holder unit.
\015\012As for the head lights they may just require a pair of bulbs.
It could well be a wiring problem or an open circuit somewhere. You will need a voltmeter to test the reading at the point of contact to the bulb.Sometimes rust can cause this problem..Hope this helps.
