Having problems with your 1987 Mitsubishi Passenger ?

My son accidently put a screw driver in the cigarette lighter

\015 My son accidently put a screw driver in the socket where cigarette lighter should go. I saw a tiny spark. Since then I cannot use the socket to recharge my navigator. I checked the fuse-box, and there are no blown fuses. I removed the the unit, and it looks okay. When I checked the two wires which are connected to the unit, I noticed that one does not have power (the one with a white connector). Is there a in-line fuse?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 11-11-2019

Answers :

There has to be a fuse either in the car or under hood in the fuse box if you dont have a diagram of fuse locations pull each one out and check. it is most likely labeled something else. or check for a inline fuse for some reason. but their is a fuse most likely in the car pull each one out and check.
Keep looking for a blown fuse. One wire is the ground and has no power.
