Having problems with your 1988 Chevrolet C1500 ?

88 chevy 2wd rear right tire

\015 My right rear tire is locking up for no reason when this started to happen i applied brakes and came to a complete stop and then let go and started moving forward without touching anything other than the wheel to steer . the tire felt like it was having tension and then lock up but would release when i put in reverse or pushed gas a bit hard. i took it in and they couldn't find problem and said can't see nothing wrong . we went for test drive but the problem didn't happen and drove great for 2 days and again it's happening. theres no signs of leak .\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-10-2020

Answers :

You didn't say what the shop checked so I may be repeating something they already looked at. Check the brake caliper and I would also drain the old brake fluid and put in new fluid. You didn't mention if it was making any noise when this happens so I'll assume it's not a problem with your wheel bearings.
