Having problems with your 1988 Ford Bronco II ?

I have an 88 ford broncco 2 eddie bower edition and i have replaved both fuel pumps and it still wont start unless you pour gas into the carborator then when the gas in the carborator runs out it dies

Hi. that sounds like the fuel sender unit, situated in the fuel tank! take off the fuel lines to the initial carb and try to start the engine! fuel should flow out! if not the the PUMP/SENDER UNIT is at fault.
You may have a gold coloured filter that screws into your carb. Unscrew it and check to see if you can blow through it. It may be clogged. Also you can check for fuel at carb by loosening the fuel line going into the carb. Crank engine after loose. Should have gas coming from it.
