Having problems with your 1988 Lincoln Town Car ?

My 1988 Lincoln Town Car sits one inch lower on the passenger side. The car does not have air shocks. Do I need new shocks or do I have weak springs?

Answers :

I WOULD SAY WEAK SPRINGS. SHOCKS HELP CONTROL AND ADD STABILITY THEY DON'T DETERMINE HOW HIGH THE CAR IS.
I would say that the shocks and the springs are bad if your going to replace the spring you might as well change the shock if it is bad if you take the shock off and you push down on it and it dont come back up it is bad and usually if the spring is bad youll see a crack in one or two of the leafs
