Having problems with your 1988 Lincoln Town Car ?

Problem with my 1988 lincoln towncar

\015 The car is in good condition with only 90k on it. first thing i did was replace the brakes, and it seem to run fine for a while. one day I took a longer drive, maybe about 3 hours, and it stalled once when i stopped it, never did it again. then one night i was driving it a little hard since i was testing the car, because i wanted to go for a road trip. as i was driving somewhat aggressively (making the engine work harder up a hill), it started hesitating, so i slowed down, then It stalled, and never started again. i thought it was the fuel pump, so i replaced that, along with the distributor cap, spark plug wires, spark plugs, and rotor (distributor cap). everything was placed back to its correct spot, and double checked. after all that work, the car still hasn't started. when i turn over the key, the starter starts cranking the motor, but after a couple of turns, the motor seems like it wants to start running, but doesn't. also, the only indication the car gives is on the dash, the oil and amp light is on. PLEASE HELP!!!! =D\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 16-04-2018
