CHECK FOR MOISTURE ON CONECTIONS AND EXSPOSED WIRE.
You have a rubber through wire under the chassis near the shock mount or a bad tail light socket. this is very common on these have fixed alot of them. need to chase the wire harness that runs along the chassis an inspect really good. also if you have trailer wiring give it a good look too.
