\015 My 1988 300 se wont start. turns over and may start once in a while, but dies (like running out of gas). Fuses are good on overvoltage relay.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 10-12-2018

Answers :

The fuel shut off valve is not getting the correct amount of vacuum OR the fuel shutoff valve is failing.

You will need 1/2 to go over EVERY SINGLE vacuum line and check for leak.

Even it's look OK. Give it a little push to ensure 100% seal connection.

If this does not help then the vacuum switch next to the steering lock (behind dash) may be leaking or failing.

The switch is about $36 from the Mercedes dealer.

Good luck
