Having problems with your 1989 Chevrolet C/K 2500 ?

Truck running rough

\015 I have a 1989 chevy truck with a 350 tbi motor. Tuned it up with cap, rotor button, plugs. (wires were new last season). The truck still was missing. Checked the ignition coil and thought it was arching. I bought a new coil and installed it. Truck will not start. The first coil I installed, I did not install the two grounding straps. No fire . I exchanged the coil for a new one and installed the new one with the straps, still no start. Can you tell me how to trouble shoot this problem.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 17-02-2020

Answers :

Check and see if you have spark at the coil you can do this by getting an inline spark tester no more then ten dollars if you have spark then try replacing the distributor
