Hi! We may have a PCM (powertrain control module) and transmission solenoids issue. The PCM has big contribution on the transmission and may need to be reprogrammed. We may have a faulty transmission solenoids too thats why the shifter is stuck. Have this checked and transmission solenoid replacement can be necessary. Atleast we have an idea where to start. Hope this helps and have a good one!
It could be as simple as something is wedged in the shifting link on your transmission or transfer case. If you can get under the vehicle and try to move the links and look for something jammed a pin fallen from the linkage. The fransfer case is locked into 4 wheel drive that is why you must have the wheel locked. Something is holding you shift lever in place. Good luck Darrell S
