Having problems with your 1989 Jeep Cherokee ?

Trying to STILL change out the master cylinder for my sons jeep. It is a 1989 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. The Master cylinders in the books at the shops show 2 ports on the right side but the one installed is 2 ports on the left side and one on the right. I have manuals for 98% of the cars in the states from
\015\0121965-2010, and I checked your jeep plus 10yrs before
\015\012and after 1989. All I found was two line line systems.
\015\012I have seen these situations before, where the manufacture will use a different casting, so it can be
\015\012used in more applications.(with minor changes such
\015\012as plug a hole)Witch is what I suggest you do. Go to
\015\012a hardware store and get a pipe plug for the odd
\015\012hole. Just make sure the plunger rods are the same
\015\012length, and bench bleed the master cyl. including
\015\012the odd hole.(get all the air out)Install it, and bleed
\015\012the system. I hope I have been of some help.
\015\012Good luck.
