Having problems with your 1989 Jeep Cherokee ?

I get no spark With a test light I found power going to the module so I changed the module but still no spark so I checked for power at the dist. connector with a test light, no power going into dist thru wires on connector. this is a 1989 Jeep cherokee Loredo, straight 6, 4.0

Answers :

Replace the crank position sensor located on the back side of the motor(drivers side top) in the bell housing you can see it from top or under the jeep
