Having problems with your 1989 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight Royale ?

My olds ran out of gas .I went and got gas and put it in.now my car won't start and it doesn't sound like my fuel pump is working. What should I do?oh when it ran out of gas it was below 20 degrees outside.

Put some line freeze in it and a lot of gas it might be the filter plunged with rust.
Your problem could be due to a clogged or gummed up fuel filter, usually when a car is run out of gas the manufacturer recommends changing the fuel filter due to the amount of sediment that inherently sits on the bottom of gas tanks and gets sucked into the system... especially one as old as this. Additionally you may have tank condensation that froze inside of your pump and it will need to be replaced. However this is a worst case scenario, always check the least expensive solution first.
