Answers :

You never pour just ordinary water in radiators, in fact you should use a mixture of coolant, and purified water. Plain water will corrode your cooling system, and you could end up with an overheating car, and a blown motor several months later. Not worth it in trying to save on coolant. Most coolant are mixed already, so you dont have to mix them.
There should be a cap on the top of the radiator, you can top it up from there, only undo this when it is cold to touch, never open it when it is hot. However, there should also be a surge or overflow tank and its best to fill it up from there. The location should be stated in your owners manual. There should also be some markers on the tank showing the level. Water is fine for just topping up a small portion, but for more use a mixture of water and coolant.
