Having problems with your 1990 Buick Regal ?

I turn my car off and my fuel pump is still running how i fix that

Pull the relay for the fuel pump out of the fuse box.
\015\012Just pull them one at a time, until if stops.
\015\012Then replace the relay, because that is about the only thing I can think of that could cause this.
\015\012If expensive and you want to be sure, then look at the diagram on the side of the relay, and determine which socket is supposed to get power when you turn the car on. It will be one of the primary pair, that connect to the symbol that looks like a coil or solenoid. Then see if that wire gets power when you try to start? If it does, but does not have current when ignition is off, then there is nothing else wrong but the relay with its points welded together.
