Don't have the exact setting but it does not need to be EXACT. it is typically in the 10-20 deg BTDC (before top dead center)\015\012
\015\012The important part is the truck idles at the correct speed (controlled by the timing when all other systems are working correctly)\015\012
\015\012Locate the distributor (all of the spark plug wires lead to it) and LOOSEN thebolts holding it in ( 1 - 3 of them), do not remove them, just enough so it will rotate.\015\012
\015\012Start the truck and turn the distributor until the truck idles at the correct RPM pretty much always in the 500-1000 RPM range. This is assuming there are no air leaks what so ever. If you can not get the engine to idle at the correct rpm by just turning the distributor there are other issues that must be addressed.\015\012
\015\012If there are air leaks even when the timing is set correctly the engine will rev up WAY to far and if you do manage to get it to idle at the right rpm WITH air leaks it will most likely run too hot and have VERY little power.
