Hi, sounds as if your imobiliser control is doing the usuall PROBE trick,it is located under the dash below heater controls, you cant miss it its black plastic and is retained by a silver bracket which is fixed by 2 rivets one side and 2 star drive screws on the other, cut or drill rivets out, unscrew other side, remove retaining plate from drivers side turn it over, unplug unit and remove 3 retaining screws, turn imobiliser unit over remove 3 screws in the plastic case, remove circit board and check solder points on the rear, odds are you will find 3 pins that need resoldering, resolder these and unit will be fine. TAKE CARE NOT TO LET SOLDER STRAY OR CONTAMINATE OTHER TERMINALS.
