\015 I just had a new motor installed there is 400 miles on it now the motor runs great has expected power. But it is only getting 8.24 mi. per gal of gas I put a new TBI on it and that didn't do any good other that making my wallet lighter.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 08-08-2022

Answers :

Yes, GENTLY break the motor in to about 1k miles after that, change the oil/filters and you will slowly see an increase in your mpg. I had the same problem with mine. Now has 60k on new motor and I get a consistent 20mpg on the hwy. City mileage is about 12.
