Having problems with your 1990 Toyota Corolla ?

Random power loss

\015 Hello, and thanks for taking this question. I have a 1990 Totyota Corolla station wagon and for the past month or so I've been experiencing some short term power loss while driving. I'll be cruising along, and then it will chug slightly and regan power. It seems to be happening more as the days go by. This can happen at any speed, but I seem to notice it more while on the highway. I suspect the fuel pump or perhaps the sparkplug wire may begin to faulter. On another note, when the car is cold or been parked for some time it takes quite a bit of turning over before she starts. Once she's warm, I can stop it and she'll fire up easily, or if it's winter and she's plugged in, she'll start up no problem. \015\012\015\012Any suggestions welcome,\015\012\015\012cheers,\015\012\015\012Marc\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 11-11-2019
