Pick up a copy of Haynes Diesel Repair Manual, part # 10330. It has an extensive diagnostic and repair section for glow plugs in your truck, either 6.0 or 7.3. It's only $20 and well worth it. It has diagrams and wiring especially pins on the plug-ins. You should be able to get it at the auto parts store. Hope this helps.
