Turn signal won't turn off - 1991 Honda Accord

Answers :

Is the cam inside the steering column to the lever worn or broken and you have to turn off manually after turn? Need to replace the plastic cam the lever moves then. Will the turn signal never turn off? Manually or otherwise? Maybe the plastic peices have been destroyed and don't actuate anything any longer. Every turnsignal problem I've had with not resetting after turn came from misaligned parts in steering column after steering wheel repalcement or broken/worn parts in column. Otherwise, you have a short or something if it just blinks and never ever turns off no matter what. If it comes on but not off until you do it yourself, check the turn signal lever assembly and the parts it moves in the column for damage and wear and replace accordingly. Not a huge job. Should'nt be a million dollars at a shop if you don't want to do it yourself. Hope this helps
