Having problems with your 1991 Honda Civic ?

I deliver for Domino's,recently,if I didn't shut the car off,it would stall, then would not start, till it sat for15 or 20 min.Other driver's,say it is the coil, which I understand,is in the distributor,or under the rotor.Thursday it did this, cooled down when I got back to the store.and when I was going home it just quit, and will not start at all.Is what they said right,or is it something else? Baffelled and no knowlege

Answers :

A coil is possible but you can test for spark at the spark plugs. most automotive stores sell spark testors reasonably cheep and will tell you how to use it. If you have spark at the plugs its not the problem. If it is not the problem I would test fuel pressure fuel pumps going bad have the symptoms you described and are usually in the gas tank and cooled by fuel in your gas tank many have been ruined by people who run their tanks low.
