Having problems with your 1991 Lincoln Town Car ?

Charging system on a 1989 Lincoln Mark 7

\015 I have a new battery, replaced the voltage regulator and alternator. Still have a charging problem I KNOW it has to be in the connections somewhere. replaced the battery terminals with brass ones. Do you think I should start replacing the negative and positive wires that lead to my battery? The air ride system is out so the ride is rough right now, I'm thinking something has come loose. Any suggestions on how to diagnose the problem without replacing everything?. I do have a voltmeter not honestly sure how to use it correctly.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 16-04-2018

Answers :

Yes,change cables .voltmeter works by finding hot or power lead & checking it to ground .never use wire as ground go to frame.as for finding it start at the top & work to bottom.
