Having problems with your 1991 Subaru Legacy ?

I replace an idler gear for the timing belt on my 1991 subaru lagacy evidently I did not get the gears timed right. Please help. Thanks Jim Suiter I put the two cam gears mark lined up with the slot on the cowling and the gear on the crank I lined it up with zero on the shroud

I think the crank is not set on zero...there is a special timing mark on the fllywheel it has to be set to and it is not zero or top dead center....look for special marks on the flywheel thru the rubber inspection slot in the back which is quite a few degrees from those timing marks that show zero.If memory serves me there are two line marks onthat flywheel that is the cam tioming marks
