What is the quickest and easist way to replace the alternator and put the serpintine belt back on?

\015 The alternator is going bad. It will start if you dont let it set for to long but overnight it drains the battery. I turned the car on and removed the positive cable on the battery and the car dies.   3. \015\012Remove the serpentine drive belt from the alternator, as outlined in Section 1 of this manual.

  5. \015\012Detach the electrical connections from the alternator.

  7. \015\012Unfasten the alternator mounting bolt and mounting bolt and nut.

  9. \015\012Remove the alternator from the vehicle.

    1. \015\012Position the alternator in the vehicle and secure with the mounting nut and bolt. Tighten to 5 ft. lbs. (8 Nm).
