Having problems with your 1992 Honda Accord ?

1992 Honda Accord Ex stick shift. has been either not starting or cutting off after it starts. If I wait about 10 mins., it will start again. I have replaced the starter the heat sensor unit and new battery. This occurs in all weather conditions.

Answers :

Check your main relay. It powers the fuel pump and the ignition system. They are a known problem, with a high failure rate, on the 90-93 accords. I do believe it's worth checking.
Ok look check for misfire the main relay fails alot but check the egr valve with car warm but off unplug the hose on top the egr valve and start the car if runs beter with a vacum pump check the egr put some vacum pressure like 5 pounds psi the engine will stall soutoff the car and test the egr put like 10 pounds psi and hold it for 30 seconds if it holdit the egr valve is good then the egr valve selenoid may be is bad remember the car runs better with out egr valve
