Having problems with your 1992 Isuzu Trooper ?

I have a 1992 Isuzu Bighorn model3.1D. The head has just been reconditioned, 4 cylinders honed, new rings, pistons and crankshaft seals were installed. An old radiator was put in place. After a week of use, it overheated and I drove it from the place where it overheated to the mechanic - a distance of about 20 kms. The mechanic diagnosed it as severe overheating due to the old radiator giving way. What other parts of the engine would be affected with this problem? If I replace the radiator,

Answers :

The best check is fill the radiator with water when the engine is running and see if the water blows out the top of the rad. it it does then you have cylinder head problem's if not a new rad. will sort it. Cheers
