Having problems with your 1992 Pontiac Bonneville ?

My brakes lose pressor

\015 After a close call, my brakes have felt slushy. I aply presser and feel it slowly give way. I have looked for leaks and even tested the reservoir and it shows no sign of loss.I have a 92 Pontiac Bonneville se v6 not supercharged \015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 15-07-2019

Sounds like the master cylinder is failing.
The pedal will act this way when it's going out.
Check for possible fluid leakage under the dash just in case...
I would suggest a rebuild kit or a complete replacement master cylinder...
Be sure to bleed the brakes after installation.
Sounds like master cylinder on it's way out. If pedal pushed, then ease off slightly but keep constant pressure on pedal & it fades to floor, I'd say master cylinder, if no sign of fluid loss.
