Having problems with your 1992 Volkswagen GTI ?

High fuel consumption/ strong smell of fuel

\015 Found a split in one of the air hoses recently, car had been sort of missing for a while, after replacing the hose there still is a strong smell of fuel and excess use of fuel. The car also feels like its missing and is leaving a oily marker on the floor at the bottom of the exhaust. Any help much appreciated! You could have a injector stuck in open loop and or a bad o2 sensor these are the two most common problems i see with stated issues that you are having . hope this helps you!!
