Hi,

\015\012What is the car doing that makes you think the timing is off? teh Serp belt does not control timing on that motor. It uses 2 sensors to adjust the timing. 1 being a cam sensor and another being a Crank sensor. You may have damaged the crank sensor when you replaced the oil switch and removed the Serp belt. Now it could also be you removed the harness and forgot to reattach or the wires got damaged as well. Please inspect them to make sure its on and not damaged.
\015\012Is the check engine light on? If so pull that and see if it brings up the crank sensor or soemthing else.
