Having problems with your 1993 Dodge Dakota ?

My dakota started to make a clunking or grinding noise, every time i accelerate. its not a loud sound, but it is noticeable, sounds like its coming from the drive shaft. i'm not a whiz with mechanics and would like to know whats wrong?

Answers :

Check motor mounts for play and check steady bearing on driveshaft(in center) and u joints, also have diffrential checked for excessice play bearing noise

Possibly a dry or worn U-joint. It's not going to get any better and needs to repaired ASAP.
