I am sorry to hear regarding the trouble.

This is a common problem on these models and we have seen it many times in our shop. If you have power to the distributor, and the distributor has a good \015\012ground, then you either have a defective distributor, or the tach wire \015\012is grounding out or a bad tack.Disconnect the tach wire from the splice\015\012 and see if it sparks, if it doesnt then the distributor you got is bad,\015\012 on this ignition system, everything is in the distributor for the \015\012signal to the coil, also check the continuity on the wire from the \015\012distributor to the neg side of the coil.\015\012\015\012\015\012Another thing to check is the ECA, the white wire off the distributor \015\012goes to the ciol, the tach, and the ECA, this provide signal to the ECA \015\012for firing the injectors, if there is a short in the eca, it will not \015\012get spark, unplug the eca and see if there is spark, if there is spark, \015\012then you have a bad eca. Be advised that distributor should come with crank sensor in it and not the module.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
