Having problems with your 1993 Ford Probe ?

Engine dies after 2 minutes, and will restart if i pull the throttle manually acts like its not getting fuel. ik thinking fuel filter, pump, or vaccuum

Loosen the fuel tank filler cap to see if that makes any difference. Listen at the tank while someone turns the key on (don't try to start), you should hear the fuel pump run for a moment or so, then shut off. If it keeps running, the pump is likely worn out. Change the fuel filter in any case. Rent a pressure test kit and check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail over the injectors (the test port looks like a tire valve). You should see about 45 PSI. If much less, the pressure regulator or the fuel pump may be in trouble.
If you can start the engine by opening the throttle it usually means the IAC (Idle Air Control) is bad or the MAF (Mass Airflow Sensor) is not reading correctly due to leaks between it and the engine or being defective itself. Hard plastic "hoses" get left off the rubber boot between the MAF and engine quite a lot.
