Accord LX loss of power & sporadically died driving home???

\015 Have a problem that occurred with my 175k accord LX last night. was driving on highway and noticed a loss of power along and overall rough running. the tachometer began bouncing everywhere suddenly and very erractically but would seem to stablize for a moment but no where near accurate. after noticing the issue looked at the temp gauge and it was showed completely cold...incorrect. the vehicle stalled several times driving down highway but would power steering still worked not like a total loss and would pick back up and stabilize and pick up some RPM. completely lost all RPM a two times and had to pull over but engine immediately restarted and would drive. i noticed when key was on ACC the temp gauge was correct but once cranked it would drop. i stopped at a store and shut the engine down for about 10 minutes and restarted and there seemed to be an increase in power and acceleration so i continued home but symptom began again very quickly. drove it in at very low rpm and speed. no smoking or unusual smells was ever noticed. there was a noteable loss of fuel mileage over last 50 miles. does this situation sound familiar to anybody??\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-08-2019
