Having problems with your 1993 Honda Prelude ?
Im just trying to find the idle air control valve
\015 I'm just trying to find the idle air control valve on my 93 Honda prelude H23A1. The reason of this is the rpm's are jumping from 1000 to 2000 on idle and it gets quite annoying when your just sitting at a light and all you hear is or idling. This might have to do with timing being off a little bit but i am just trying to get this fixed as soon as possible. Also where is the thermostat located on the H23A1. Thank you very much for your time and i am looking forward to hearing from someone about this problem so i can fix it asap. Thanks, James\015
Answers :
It's on the in take plenum underneath the runners u should be able to see it from the top of the motor . Also check coolant level if the rpms fluctuate due to the coolant temp sensor not submerged in coolant.
