Answers :

Try putting it in neutral & see if will start,,if not,,find starter & tap on the bottom case of it then try it again,,if still nothing,,if u have not done this before,,get a haynes repair book for your jeep,,it will help u,,
CHECK STARTER FUSE+ RELAY AT THE POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.IF FUSE AND RELAY IS GOOD.REMOVE STARTER TURN OFF RADIO FIRST DISCONNECT NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE. IF YOU HAVE 4WD YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE FRONT AXLE SKID PLATE TO GET TO STARTER.YOU CAN TAKE STARTER WITH SOLENOID ATTACHED TO AUTO ZONE OR ADVANCE AUTO PARTS THEY WILL CHECK IT FREE.BESURE DISCONNECT BATTERY POSITIVE CABLE FROM STARTER SOLENOID.SO IT WILL HANG DOWN ENOUGH GAIN ACCESS TO STARTER.
