Having problems with your 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee ?

Transmission maybe? When driving in "D" or drive, it feels as if it lags and won't pick up into a higher gear. Just bought this car...feeling some buyers remorse...

Answers :

I would check the transmission fluid and color. Check the fluid with the car parked level and running, in park. The fluid should be a bright red color. You might need to replace the transmission filter and fluid. Grand Cherokees have alot of transmission problems.
