Having problems with your 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee ?

Want to convert 93 grand cherokee from 4x4 to 4x2 .. what's neede

The tailshaft will also have to be changed on the transmission as it is set up for a transfer case and not a driveline. This change requires a lot of modification. Your transmission mounts to the vehicle using the transfer case and there are no mounts on the transmission itself. It would be MUCH easier to just head to the salvage yard and find another transfer case. Most people do not have the resources, machinery, or tools neceassary to build what would be needed to customize a grand cherokee for 2 wheel drive
Take the tansfer case out take the driveline off the front and get a new driveline going to the rear because without transfer case you rear driveline wont be long enough to reach the rear diff, about 8 hours work and $600.00 ruff est, that is only if the transmission is still good
