Having problems with your 1993 Jeep Wrangler ?

Fuel ECU fuse keeps blowing (30 amp)

\015 I just bought a 93 wrangler with a 4.0 the other day and yesterday it really started messing up, the fuel ecu fuse keeps blowing, i went through 6 fuses yesterday and cant figure out the problem, when the fuse blows the jeep dies, when i put a new fuse in the jeep it wont start back up unless i poor gas on the air cleaner like im priming it, it seems like the fuel pump shuts down for a while also when it happens, i tried to reset the ecu but did not help, can anyone help, any suggestions? thanx\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 06-07-2020

Answers :

Your fuel pump is internally binding and causing the fuse to blow. Change the pump (and filter while you're back there.)
