Having problems with your 1993 Nissan Altima ?

Car will not start ligths and horn comes on all it does is click do not have a remote

First try to give it a jump start! if car starts, then its the battery thats bad. at battery engine off. there should be at least 12.5-13 volts at battery posts. with it running if alternator is working properly there will be at least 14.2 or better volts at battery. if less then above alternator is going bad. a bad battery will cause it to click as well as a bad starter solinoid on starter. check the battery and chargeing system first. make sure the cables from battery to starter, are clean and tight. good-day ! note: if battery will not start car, it has just enough to operate the lights.
